Terra Nostra Restaurant, located just steps from the Aragonese Castle, overlooks the ancient walls of the historic center, yet is sheltered from the hustle and bustle. It offers traditional Salento dishes.

 

From traditional Salento appetizers made with seasonal ingredients where simplicity is the common denominator, to seafood dishes, to fresh pasta that adds a special touch to dishes, Terra Nostra offers an authentic journey through the flavors of Salento.

 

The menu offers appetizers (from €8.00 to €14.00) where burrata and Salento-style octopus stand out.

For vegetarians there is also the iconic Fave & Cicorie and the Eggplant Parmigiana.

 

The first courses are distinguished by the use of fresh pasta, sagne, minchiareddhri, orecchiette, spagnetti and troccoli.

 

Moving on to the main courses , the best are the horse meat pieces and capocollo bombettes. There's no shortage of seafood delicacies like tuna and fried fish.

 

The wine list allows you to savor Apulian products: from whites like Verdeca and Bombino, to rosés and reds of "more Salento" extraction: the Burdi, a rosé made from Negroamaro grapes from the Duca Guarini winery, to the Asteri, a Primitivo from the Corallo estate in Otranto, from the Metiusco, a Negroamaro from the Palamà winery, to the Pruina, a Primitivo di Manduria.
